I have been in Vegas since 1980. And lived in Summerlin since 2000. As a stylist for 26 years I’ve met a lot of amazing people and have had many opportunities in my career and life. Travel is my passion and adventures with my friends is the best part. I enjoy everything that our town has to offer. Amazing restaurants, live sports, and live music are my favorite things to do here when I’m home.
Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
My parents are retired teachers. And I have an incredible daughter who attended The Meadows school and recently graduated with honors from USC.
Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I started off as a costumer on the strip. Then moved to makeup and hair on tv, film, and shows. And I have been a hairstylist for 26 years. Currently styling and starting a travel business for my next chapter.
Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
Sushi Fever, Dom Demarco’s, El Dorado Cantina, First Bistro, and Elia.
Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
I’ve lived and worked in Summerlin for 21 years.
Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
I can’t name one… Too many to count.
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
I have been fortunate to have traveled to 57 countries so far. Currently I’m planning a long trip from the Galapagos islands to Machu Picchu.
Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
Oh my favorite movies is The Fall. And I’ve really been enjoying Mare of East town.
Q: What advice would you give to people?
Life is too short not to be happy. Try everything you get the opportunity to. And don’t cut your own bangs.
Q: What is something on your bucket list?
To live in several foreign countries.
Q: What is your go to band when you cant decide what to listen to?
I don’t have a favorite but I always enjoy The Glass Animal station and Yacht Rock.
Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
Without a doubt David Bowie. And I’d take him to Elia
Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
I love the beauty that Summerlin brings to Las Vegas and the limitless things to do.
Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
Traveling the world.

Nothing, I’m an open book
